The scary thing about wildly wrong alternate choices is that someone may actually choose them. It's much more difficult to be charitable then as you know they don't have a clue.

Whenever I get a test like that it's actually hard for me to answer correctly. There have been a few times when I just gave in and chose the "wrong" answer, usually when I knew I had aced the test anyway (or conversely, knew there was no way I'd pass and might as well give up).
What class is this? Sounds like my Spirituality final in the seminary. I always love the crazy answers and I always laugh.
