Truth Is Stranger #107: Holy Cow!

STERLING, Conn. - A holy cow in Connecticut, perhaps? Or maybe a divine bovine?

A calf with a white marking on its forehead in the approximate shape of
a cross was born last week at a dairy farm in Sterling, a small rustic town on
the Rhode Island border....

More here...including picture.

(Sign that calf up for the upcoming nativity play!)

6 the midrash:

Nice, but does it come in Gold?

You'd think they'd have called him Emmanuel or such. I'd have expected a calf named Moses to have a Star of David.

I always thought Holy Cows gave the milk that made Swiss cheese.
